Dr. Nina Reid

Nina grew up and did her medical degree in Tasmania before moving to NSW, working in Coffs Harbour Hospital and in Tamworth before settling in Newcastle, where she completed her General Practice Specialist qualification. She has undertaken further study in Child Health and Sexual and Reproductive Health. Her interest areas include Sexual Health, Women’s Health, Chronic Disease Management and Children’s Health. She does not do skin cancer checks or excisions. As well as her role as a GP, she also works as a Lecturer at University of Newcastle, with a keen interest in medical education and research. In her spare time, she enjoys staying active, eating good food, and exploring everything the coast has to offer.
