Dr. Amy McNeill

Dr Amy McNeill is a compassionate and dedicated GP with a deep passion for children’s health, women’s health, and sexual health. Her journey in medicine began at the University of Wollongong, followed by her formative clinical years in the Illawarra region.
In 2020, Amy moved to Newcastle to pursue advancing her training in paediatrics—a field that continues to inspire her daily. Over the next four years, she gained invaluable experience working in paediatric and neonatal medicine at John Hunter Children’s Hospital, as well as in a variety of regional and rural hospitals across the Hunter, Central Coast, and Mid-North Coast.
Now as a General Practitioner, Amy brings this wealth of specialised knowledge to every consultation, offering thoughtful, evidence-based care with a warm and approachable style. Whether supporting families through early childhood development, empowering women through all stages of life, or creating a safe space for conversations around sexual health, Amy’s focus is always on compassionate, patient-centred care.
Outside of medicine, Amy finds joy in life’s simple pleasures—jogging along the shores of beautiful Lake Macquarie or browsing local bookstores in search of her next favourite mystery novel.
