Dr Georgina Girdler is a highly experienced and compassionate GP with a specialist focus on women’s health and family medicine. In pursuing her passion for reproductive care, fertility and family medicine she found herself specialising in general practice

After completing her medical degree in 2015, Georgina furthered her commitment to holistic care with a Diploma in Child Health (USYD, 2016) and an Advanced Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRANZCOG, 2017), training in hospitals across Newcastle.

Her dedication to rural and regional healthcare took her to the Snowy Mountains, where she completed her Fellowship in Advanced Rural General Practice (FARGP). There, she delivered babies, worked in emergency care at Cooma Hospital, and continued her work in general practice—gaining invaluable experience in the realities and rewards of rural medicine.

Now based in Newcastle, Georgina provides expert care across all areas of general practice, with a special interest in:

  • Fertility and reproductive health

Outside the clinic, Georgina is a proud mum who loves making memories on outdoor adventures with her young family. Whether she’s running along the beach with her dog Monty or diving into a good book on a rainy day, she brings the same warmth and balance to her personal life that she offers her patients every day.
