Peter Cooke is an experienced GP who has lived and worked in Newcastle for over twenty years, caring for families, young people and workers. He delivered babies for fifteen years and is used to providing total emotional and physical care for his patients. Peter has had further training and experience in sports medicine, women’s health and has a Masters in Pain Medicine. Over the years he has mentored and taught medical students and been an examiner for doctors doing their GP and obstetric exams. He has also been the ARU doctor at a Wallaby test match. Outside of work, Peter’s passions are refereeing rugby union, surfing, photography and his wife.
